I had a problem similar on nuerom 3pre3. it would stall on the boot screen. I would have to pull the battery for about ten minutes and then it would boot normally. I had so much crap installed including M2D that something was conflicting with the boot process. I hard reset finally and reloaded all my basic programs including M2D again and have not had one single problem since. I will keep installing stuff and if it locks again I will post up any conflicting softwares.

seems to me, a few hard resets and a battery pull really freshens up the old ppc!
