Re: Anyone returning thier Touch Pros?

My boss is returning his today, but his expectations where far too high I'm sure. He asked me if I wanted the phone, but after playing with his & another one at Best Buy I have no desire whatever to own one.

He was using a Titan that was highly customized (by me) that he was very happy with. He was expecting the TP to be a drastic improvement in every way from that setup & it certainly is not that. To get it to run well as a business device, I showed him how to disable the quirky/silly/laggy TF bloatware but that kind of defeats the purpose of the new device.

He really missed the hardware buttons etc & no customization etc will fix that (AE Button Plus is not really an option for someone like him).

I think a lot of it comes down to what you actually use a phone for. To some people the WM phones are more of a toy than a serious business tool (& there's nothing wrong with that). Those users will absolutely love the TP. Other people who consider it a phone first & the other stuff as just nice additional options should probably look elsewhere.
