Thats the process you need to do in order to make ur own rom... and once u r making ur own rom there is an option that says to add the Youtube app.. it shows 2 on that program one is called Youtube Play that is the old one the one you have.. and the other one i believe is called Youtube app (for Diamond) it shows like that but just add it to your phone and it will work on it... Also i recommend to update the BuildOS i believe is called the program and download the updates one by one its easier and better because if you check to install alot of updates and it occurs an error it will erase everything and start over and over again..
