Well, I am honestly dumbfounded. Here is what I have tried:

Flash several different 3.x roms and get an IMSI. Flash back to 2.2 and get an ESN. Since the radio Rom and the ExtRom were never touched, it would point to an issue in the roms themselves. However, if I try a rom that has been confirmed by CaptainJager or someone else as working, I still get an IMSI.

Unfortunately, this is where it doesn't make sense. Granted, it could be a combination of things in both the rom and the radio and other parts of memory. Obviously, the ESN is not in the rom, but the rom version plays an obvious part.

The hardest thing is not knowing where the Goodlink app is pulling the info from. We can see that WM can find our ESN just fine and display it in the device information.

The only other thing I can think of is that somewhere in the 3.x roms is an identifier showing the rom as a GSM phone. For some reason, CaptainJager's phone or perhaps Alltel corrects this. It would be nice to round up another Alltel user.
