If you need .NET2 you may download and install it. There are no .NET2 dependant applications on the handset however. There are only 3 applications that I wanted to integrate that require it, but there simply wasnt enough room in the ROM for the .NET2 and the applications i wanted to integrate.

The rumours are that the new kitchen is approx 8-10 megs smaller in the OS, so I may be able to bring it in once the new kitchen is up & stable. But if .NET2 still slows the entire phone down, i may not bring it in.

If your curious, the 3 applications are
-Hitchiker
-GroupSMS
-Call Firewall

Is there other programs you think add functionality to the ROM that require .NET2? Drop me a PM.

Im glad you guys are finding this release üb3r stable, i think its funny that both of the stable roms took 6 revisions. Hope the next round doesnt take so long haha.

Add two more to the list of possibly needing .NET2:

-oggsync
-gmobilesync

I think these worked in 9.6 without me upgrading anything.
In 1.6u I'm seeing a message stating: "requires a newer version of .NET compact framework than the version installed on this device"

These programs are used to sync the outlook calendar on my phone with my internet based Google Calendar. Actually, either of the programs will work, don't need both.

Also, the website for Google Calendar doesn't support the browser currently in this ROM, so I can't just use the normal online method of updating my internet calendar. It will however, allow me to view my calendar online, it just will not allow any edits.

I was going to post a link to show how I have my personal Calendar set up, but then realized this is the internet and there are raging idiots out there.
So here is a link to the official Google Calendar tour page right here:
