Had to pick up my pastor and take her to a marriage retreat that I was attending, so I was out until a little after 4:00... Went to a different store...across town (I live in Lex. Ky, they have the phones at both BBs). BB Mobile phone tech dude, at first could not do it, but another MP dude told that he had to change my SERO plan to a Voice Only SERO plan and call in to the SERO telesales folks...
Took about 30 minutes... but I walked out the store with the phone, for $254.20... plus, I got an additional $50.00 for extending my contract to 2 years...

Now, the biggest hurdle is getting the internet to work. It seems there is a internet browsing outtage on Diamonds and Touches, either all over the sprint network or in my area... which is weird... Port 80 traffic is Port 80 traffic....if internet browsing is dead on my phone, it should be dead on every other non-HTC phone that uses the internet, as well, outside of the Blackberries which go through RIM's servers...
