For the past year up until September, I have been using the Mogul as my primary device. I've only had one Mogul, so either I just didn't notice the problems with it, or I got 'lucky' with a decent unit.

I go through hundreds of email messages each day, and it's important that I'm alerted immediately to them. Outlook is the number one app I use.

I find the G-Sensor to be annoying, except if I'm bored and playing something like Teeter which obviously requires it. I'd love if it could be enabled/disabled as needed.

Opera is pretty fast, but I'd like if it would open faster.

Some things that are going to make me more productive, as a business user:

1. More RAM - easier multitasking, not as worried about closing apps...granted I am one of the people that don't mind the RAM (or lack thereof, as some would say) on the Mogul, I did spend some time daily on memory management with the Mogul and I've love to forgo that.

2. 5-Row keyboard. I often have to type long emails (yeah, I know, I just get by the Diamond at the moment, it's not nearly as fast as a hardware keyboard) and use symbols and numbers very frequently. It's going to rock just reaching up to the number keys as needed, just like I would on my laptop.

3. Flush screen - this makes up for not having a proper OK button, etc as I can now easily hit the button on the top right with both a Diamond or Touch Pro. All without the stylus, of course.

4. Performance - the Diamond is much faster than my Mogul....especially Outlook and trust me, there are some days that I see over a thousand emails, I'd definitely be the person to notice the difference here. I don't like TF3D, but once you strip that out and go down to the core utilities into the device, you'll see a big difference in performance. You don't have all that RAM and a processor upgrade for nothing!

5. Camera - I take lots of pictures, and the camera quality is a heck of a lot better. The Diamond actually doesn't have a flash, and it's still much better. I can't wait to see how the Touch Pro will be, as I have read that the flash LED is very bright.

Overall, the Diamond just feels like a "cool" phone to me (not that it isn't good), the Touch Pro feels like an actual pocketPC simply because of the different usage habits I'd have with the full keyboard. I prefer a bigger device, as it gives me something to actually 'hold' on to. It makes a night and day difference for me. But, based on what I see from the Mogul to Diamond, I can't wait for the Touch Pro.

I feel that the next generation HTC devices are definitely headed toward the right direction, at least to an extent that makes me want to upgrade.

Hope this helps...

That does help. I haven't heard from anyone who turned the Interactive Cartoon Interface off and left it off. Did you put a camera icon on the Today screen, or just go through the menus?
