Re: Is it a given that the Touch Pro fixes the Mogul issues?

>> If you have a stock rom, and all your doing is what you said above and your phone is trippin, then your phone is truely defective. They did not build a $600 phone and you cant open 1 app, listen to music, and then you have to reset??? you're not even using your phone to its potential and your having problems, imagine if you tried running some more powerful apps. I soft reset once a day but its definitely not after running 1 or 2 small apps. i'm positive on a hard reset if all you do is call, listen to music and open up 1 app, i would like to see you HAVE to reset.

By the way, I tried that stupid 2D app myself on my spare phone for a couple weeks just out of curiosity to see what all the fuss was about.

I cooked it into a ROM & had all the functions (except playing videos) working just fine. I'll admit, it is kinda fun eye candy until the novelty wears off & you realize just how drastically it actually limits the functionality of the phone.

That is all fine & dandy if your phone is mostly a toy to you, but if you actually use it for business etc it is probably the last thing you would ever want to run. That app totally eliminates the use of all the home screen plug-ins that I love (including weather panel) & is an absolutely outrageous memory hog (causing constant resets).
