My Diamond doesn't heat up the way you guys all describe. I'm sitting here with mine playing an NBC TV show through Windows Media from where I surfed to NBC.com in Opera. It's been playing for 5 or 10 minutes. It's slightly warm, but not blazing hot like some of you describe. I got my unit in the mail on October 9th. Is it possible that they were sending out corrected Diamonds by that time? Or am I just lucky? My treo got at least this hot if not hotter just on a phone call.
