Digitizer Failure

Hay Guize.

So I was another victim of the Vzw cracked white case. It was bad. Probably worse than most. The paint on the front cover was flaking off and exposing the bare plastic underneath.

So I decided to swap out the case with a "nicer" black version. The case I bought didn't come with it's own transcriber, but it did come with glue on the housing.

While doing the swap, I couldn't figure out how to separate the digitizer from the frame and ultimately stripped the outer touch part from the actual digitizer, which inevitably destroyed the adhesive between the two.

I'm probably just going to buy another digitizer but was hoping for a low-tech solution that I could use now instead of going that route.

Does anyone have any suggestions as how to glue them back together?

Basically, there are the four leads on the digitizer that has to connect with the outer touch. Those leads don't come in contact 100% of the time and I have to force the two together to get my touch screen to work. I would think the glue would have to be conductive or maybe it's just rubber cement.

Thoughts?
