A friend of mine has been waiting for the Diamond to come to Verizon for a long time. He would have happily switched to Sprint by now for it but they dont have EV-DO coverage anywhere near where he lives, only Verizon. I told him probably December, and it looks like they will get their 'gimped' version then.
