PA shouldnt freeze, just enable it under settings for today. I havent had it freeze any phones since i backed it off of the beta. Are you *sure* you hard reset and did NOT allow your customizations to run if you are on Sprint (that causes a ton of f*ed up sh!t....)

your settings file, may (highly likely) hold pointers for file location. The files are now based out of windows dir (obviously). And now, everytime the program needs to do anything, it has to "find" itself.
I know its gonna be a pain in the @ss... but start from scratch. re-create all of your settings, and backup that settings file for in the future.... sorry i forgot to mention that earlier.

I have a strange problem. My phone seems to always be data connection mode. And when it is, I cannot make a phone call. I have even been in a situation where my call will drop and when I look at the phone, its in data connection mode. I have Phone Alarm and Weather Panel loaded ... not sure what the problem could be. I am doing one more Hard Reset in hopes that fixes the problem.

ALL Roms (even offical releases) have an issue with data connections blocking the ability to answer the phone. If the unit suspends, but the app needs to check data, it will do so when it wakes when it rings and blocks you from answering. Again this is with ALL roms
I know the weather plugin autoconnects every 4 hours, if the phone is "suspended" then as soon as you wake it up, or a call comes in, it will attempt to connect. You can go into the settings and set it to manual, or uncheck "allow it to make connections"... then it will only update when it detects a connection. Or just set it on manual and update when you want to.
