That workaround to make skyfire your default browser will make skyfire launch when you try and click on a link from an email or text message. Only problem is when Skyfire launches it goes through the login process which I think messes things up and just opens up to the default main page for skyfire. It won't go directly to the link. Now I don't know if the newer version of skyfire works with links. I haven't tried it yet since I saw so much negative feedback for it.
So I had to change things back to the way they were. I'm thinking of trying this other hack that I had seen posted by someone at XDA who ended up making a shortcut to skyfire on the internet tab page right above or under the shortcut to the youtube app shortcut.
I gotta find it.

it-s on the 3rd post. addin a link. Unfortunately, U cannot open skyfire on a certain webpage coz they require authentication and they have their own start page.
