I tried to cut it with an xacto knife but the durability of the protector wouldnt let me cut it lol. I had to use a precision flathead screwdriver tip with a lighter to melt the plastic away from the hole...
I received mine yesterday and it did have a pre-cut piece for the earpiece. I just needed to push it out but the perforation was there.
What I didn't like about it was it made my screen look bad. Especially on white screens. It had some weird lines that showed and made the VGA screen look pretty bad. I had messed up the protector that came with the Diamond and I had it on but it was pretty dirty.
What I did was use the spray it came with, sprayed the original protector, sprayed my fingers, and wiped it clean. Put it back on, and my original protector looks like new!
The Zag protector also had a very sticky feel to it. Not as fun to do any swiping on.
