Alright, I'm sorry if this has been covered, but I can't find a real solution.

Ever since I started using the Juicy ROMs I've noticed that IGO8 takes a real long time to get a GPS lock. If I just let it sit, it usually takes about 5-10 minutes. It's like this every time I run the program; in a good phone reception areas , and in poor reception areas. Sometimes I can close the app, and then re-open it, and it will get a lock right away.

I recalled never having a problem with the Sprint Stock ROM. So to test, I just reloaded the Stock ROM, installed IGO, and within 3 seconds of launching the program I had a GPS lock. Tried it several times, and it locks every time within 10 seconds.

So my question is, what is it that I need to do to get it to behave like the Sprint ROM. I love the Juicy ROMs for the battery life and overall speed, but this issue is kind of a deal breaker for me.

Again sorry if it's been covered. I can't seem to sort through all the posts to find an answer.

By the way, if there is a solution, I'm just curious as to why it wouldn't be built in to the ROM?
