Switching to landscape in opera is not a good indicator of the sensor performance. Opera is a sensor aware but not build with the sensor in mind, also Opera wraps the text around to fit the screen which causes a delay in the re-rendering of the page. Teeter and Resco Bubbles are better indicators of the performance and both are sensitive to even the smallest tilting on the device.
