I made the same mistake. LOL. I mentioned the white spots as well as the overheating to them and they said they don't have it in anywhere in their system that this is a known issue. Now that was with the Mogul which has been out over a year, so I readily had 4 websites up with forums discussing this issue. I told the Sprint rep on the phone: well if you don't have it in your system yet then maybe someone might like to review these forums and determine if it should be added. There were an average of 200 posts in each of the 4 forums that were discussing the white spots and overheating. Anyway, they said they would send me another one, but according to others it is very likely that the same problems will still be there. It just takes a few weeks before the heat causes the spots.
That brings me to this post, which I hope the white spots don't become present in this newer model phone.
