there really isn't much you can do to speed up the internet per say on these devices other than changing the max connections and possibly a proxy dns but that only helps with first launch...after that you're subject to the the connection you have. if you're unfamiliar with changing the registry i suggest looking for an app called advanced configurator as it has many options to tweak your device without having to screw with the registry and possibly effing up your entire weekend.
