Transparency would be slick, but it would probably cause the device to be sluggish on anything less than the HTC Touch/Vogue. I doubt the 6700/6800 or anything less would run smoothly with transparent taskbar, start menu, etc... Mainly due to the lack of graphics processsing power and RAM.
