I can confirm this fix works. Without it my battery would be down to 35% after 8 hours just sitting idle. No WiFi, no BT, just phone and data on. With the fix, my phone is down to 91% after 8 hours of idle. It might in fact be better than that as the battery went from 100% to 96% immediatly after unplugging it. At any rate, nice find.
