best app for this is SPB phone suit. Lets you set profile based on time, hardware status (USB, wall), or appointment (by status, catagory, etc). REAL flexible.

I put my classes into the calendar, and it sets itself to meeting during those events. But because its based on catagory, other events set themselves differently. One class is in the basement and is thus at 0 bars, the programs turns off the cell radio during that class (catagory + time). Very VERY flexible.

Actually I love most SPB stuff. phone suite, pocket plus, time, and mobile shell all get installed every time. Once all are installed my entire today setup comes back with restoring PPs config, since the other plugins and shortcuts are inside PP.
