Soft and Hard as answered already. J even clarified it further by saying that the soft IS USED to flash the hard.

What is there to understand. You don't need to do anything with the soft, it's all done for you by cmonex's unlocker. If you don't know what it's for, and no one's talking about it, it's probably because it's something only a few people need to know, and you don't need to know.

To clarify: The difference is SOFT vs HARD. First is used to write the other!
