well as it says in that gps fix thread, that will activate gps on the only official rom- the one released back in april. there is a link directly to the rom that the whole thread is made for. as of this new rom that seems (to me atleast) official, just leaked, i dont know if those old cabs (which were made for the 6.0 rom, that didnt have gps) will work on this new 6.1 rom (which supposedly should have gps).

personally, i havent gotten gps to work yet, but all i have done is flash the new 6.1 rom and try to use google maps. i had gps on and agps as well on the old 6.0 and it worked good, but im not going to go in to my qpst and reg and all that yet until i know if thats what i need to do or not.
