I've been trying to piece together all the info from this thread but am confused and concerned that most of what I see is by people with Sprint.

I am about to do the renewl/upgrade phone with Verizon and the VX6900 will cost me $100 when all is said and done. What I am hoping for is a single cellphone device that I can use to watch videos, play my mp3's, take decent photos with, use as a GPS with turn by turn directions (I don't really like vz navigator so would want to unlock the GPS), check my yahoo email with, and if possible browse ebay and other internet sights.

Will this phone fit the bill?

Can someone give me a more simplistic "how-to" for a Verizon mod?

Is there a way to return it to OEM condition if I have a problem and want warrantee work done?

I have modded psp's and xbox 360's, but am having a problem picking out just what programs and files/roms apply to Verizon and where to find them. I have spent most of the day (other than watching my Buffalo Bills get trounced) reading through here.
