well, they recently released the official WAD2 http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/pro...dvanceDesktop/

i'm not too sure about the desktopapp error... i'd say uninstall everything and start from scratch, just make sure to follow the directions to the T... i detailed them pretty well i believe
