I had this problem happen with mine (Internal Storage2 showed up) when my phone was connected to my computer in "Disk Drive" mode and my phone received something (picture mail in this case) that it tried to store on the storage card.

It couldn't so instead the phone created a folder called "Internal Storage" in main memory and then stored the file in there.

When I disconnected from "Disk Drive" mode the memory card came back under the phones control and since "Internal Storage" was taken it went to "Internal Storage2"

Note that other variations of this same thing could happen and cause the same thing. It's too bad that Windows Mobile isn't smart enough to reserve the name of Internal Storage while the memory card is in disk drive mode.
