I had to chime in on this discussion. My 6700 has been failing miserably on the battery life it can't keep a charge for long at all. It started happening in January of this year. I bought the phone in November 2006 from Radio Shack. Since then it has been getting progressively worse. What made me take it to a Sprint store was the USB port used for charging the phone is coming loose. So I took it to the sprint repair center and was told by the rep (not a tech mind you) that they do not have any 6700s in the warehouse and if i would need replacement they would give me a Treo. I said I didn't want a Treo. So she told me to call Sprint's customer service to see if they can find one through another warehouse. I called them and after a lengthy convo with that girl she told me to contact Asurion the people who handle the insurance which I now pay $7 a month for. They (Asurion) told me I had to pay the $50 deductible and they would send me a reconditioned 6700. I placed this call on Tuesday May 1 and received the replacement on May 4, 2007.

I came in here looking to see how I can sync my contacts because it seems everything else synched but not my contacts. I did ask all the Sprint reps I spoke to on the phone and the one I saw in the store and none of them knew a thing about the 6800. I didn't actually call it by name I was just trying to see if they knew whether the 6700 was to be replaced they all acted or not acting as if they have never heard of there being a replacement for the 6700. That is either strange or just typical you all let me know.
