I have OMJ's M2D v2 rom, and I think it is in M2D.

I went to HKLM/software/htc/camera/genereal and change the value "disablehuttersound" to 1, and soft resetted, but still there is sound.

its really annoying because even I have my phonr silenced or in vibrate mode, the sound is there, in fact its in MAX volume if you put the phone in SILENCE.

Does anybody know the fix?

is it the rom that I am having?
it is not caused by M2D, but from the bell base rom.

go to HKLM/software/htc/camera/common, change "sourceofsnapsound" to \windows\
