saridnour,
Lockups on soft reset has reared its ugly head again. At least, I know exactly what caused it to start again. Some time ago, I had installed Mortbuttons, which placed itself in windows startup. While it was there (2nd in order of startup; VC was first), I never had a single lockup on soft reset. However, when I uninstalled Mortbuttons, immediately I started getting the lockups again. Tried changing the startup order with SKTools to see if that would help. But I can't seem to change the order. Anyway, this convinces me more than ever that these lockups have something to do with the order or timing of startups, or perhaps the particular programs that are in startup might be a factor. Any suggestions?
