EDIT: Thanks for explaining it. I understand its permanent. Its worth it to me to have the 6.1 features like threaded sms/mms. The only thing I am worried about is the rom being slow and making the phone unusable for a quick text or something.

Like when I am in the car or something I like to be able to text something really quick and don't want to have a huge amount of lag or w.e.

2. choose an official rom to flash to upgrade your radio (either Sprint or Bell). I have a link to both on my thread. I prefer the Bell radio over the SPrint, though I am a Sprint user. ***NOTE** when you flash the official rom, be sure to soft reset after calibrating the screen & setting time zone etc, b4 the carrier customization runs!!!***

3. *optional* flash the custom rom of your choice. I say it's optional cuz you could stay on the offical rom, but you'd be better off flashing a custom.
