I had the exact same experience with my Verizon XV6800 Mogul.. They're pretty close, but still some bugs. Mine reboots at random while I'm in Android.. Sometimes it'll last for hours, then other times it'll reboot after five minutes of use ... There doesn't seem to be a rule to it. Also, in the previous release, I was able to receive calls. I can't with this release. The screen needs calibration too.. you have approx 10 - 15% accuracy with your fingertip. You MUST use the stylus. I posted a couple of videos on YouTube of my phones. I have this working on my phone & my wife's. She has the Verizon HTC Touch (XV6900). It works alot better on her's. Here's a link to my videos:

In the
XV6800 video, you can see Google Maps tracking some dude's position in Mountain View, CA ... It's kinda freaky .. makes you feel like you're spying or something. I'm wondering if it's a demo, or if some guy with the Android team at Google volunteered his phone or vehicle to be a test unit .. Who knows?!? Still awesome.
