Make sure that updater has the newest files by running it again until you no longer see updates available for the Apache.
I found that everything works nicely when I use the services.exe file from the 19716 kitchen. Follow the directions
here.
Use the OLDEST VoiceCommand if you use MSVC. The newer ones work for some people, but I've always had issues with VC/BT and selecting button assignments.
Don't expect Smartskey to work.
If you haven't flashed custom ROMs before, make sure you put your device in BootLoader [POWER+RECORD+RESET] before you flash.
