Re: anyone ever get their phone delivered on sat?
idk why anyone would think it would come Sat. This is the second or third mention of it this week in here ive seen.
First of all, there is a separate Next Day Air Service for weekend delivery which costs a lot more, and is obviously not Next Day Air Saver which sprint uses. It cant be one service and have the qualities of another more expensive service at the same time. There is a reason there is a more expensive separate service for weekend delivery which is clearly not Air Saver.
Try it out on UPS.com. Enter in a calculate time and cost and two zip codes on a friday and look at the cost for next day, its nearly DOUBLE the cost to get Sat delivery. Obviously Sprint isnt going to pay double so you get your phone on Sat instead of Monday, they simply dont care what you want- its looking out for their financial interest.
Second, Next Day Air Saver, under a simple google search and UPS' site, is:
Commercial Destinations:
Next business day delivery by 3:00 or 4:30 p.m. where UPS Next Day Air® delivery is committed by 10:30 a.m. or 12:00 noon, respectively
Residential Destinations:
Next business day delivery by end of day
key words in large font...next BUSINESS day which is obviously M-F.
Im not trying to be mean here but a little bit of research will go a long way instead of starting a thread here and then not believing what people are saying. The service restrictions are in black and white as to when they do deliver and when they dont on each service. Sprint reps arent UPS and have nothing to do with the delivery service so what UPS says goes in terms of once it leaves Sprint
