I use PhoneSuite (likely my most used app) and Backup on my Mogul -- They work fine for me and I have quite a few apps loaded up on the device. I have not noticed the slowdown mentioned above on my device. The most recent version of Backup is considerably faster than the previous version and I have no complaints about it either...
