I don't know if this will work for you or not, but for what its worth...

This little app sits in the system tray and allows you to turn BT on/off/discoverable/invisible and the color of the icon indicates the mode you are in. Just tap once and you get invisible BT. Tap and hold you get a pop-up that has options for discoverable/invisible, etc... I have only been using it for a day or two, so I can't swear by it yet, but It doesn't seem to cause any problems. I have attached the file. It is freeware. Let me know if it helps.

Rename the file and drop the .zip ending. It is a CAB. Just drop it on your device and install.
