The fact that it is a completely new phone with different hardware and we have no idea if the existing ROM tools will work with it. Don't forget that the Apache was EOL'd by Sprint in October and it wasn't until
two months after it was discontinued that the ROM hacking started. I'm not going to invest $600 in a phone until I know that it can be hacked and it offers some sort of other benefit over what I have now.
