First i would like to say you guys have a great forum going here. I just happened to stumble on this site by accident and I'm glad i did, as the information contained in these threads is immense.

Now to the question i have about custom ROM's. From what i have been reading, it seems you can use these custom ROM's on any 6700 series phone for any carrier. I have an Alltel branded PPC-6700 and was wondering if i can simply follow the directions provided with one of the custom ROM's and everything will just continue to work or if there are more carrier dependent settings i will have to change after i upgrade.

I'm sorry if this subject has been beaten to death, i just want to make sure i have my facts straight before i go messing with my phone.
