Did you just upgrade to the VZW ROM, as in you have not had a custom/gps enabled rom on your device? if that is the case you may hace to call customer service and get an A-key generated. It authenticates your phone on the network. Try placing a call and seeing if the voice says something like "we are unable to authenticate your phone at this time". Then call customer service and explain what happened.
