A few pages back, I posted the results of some experiments involving soft resetting. There were no lockups on soft reset when no apps were installed except the customization after install of pr6. But, I reported about 25% lockups after copying voicecmd.exe to windows and fixing #5 button. Thus it appeared VC was an issue. However, recently I had noticed no lockups when I'd soft reset. So, I soft reset just now about 20 times to test it. I got no lockups! This is with several of my apps installed. Some of these apps are in Startup.

So, now I'm thinking the issue with lockups after soft resetting is just some kind of timing problem with programs in startup. In other words, maybe the order of starting these programs can be an issue. As I recall, saridnour suggested this possibility. (Where is he, anyway?!!)

Here's what I have in Startup:

ClearTemp Startup.lnk
HTC_CM_Guardian.lnk
MortButtons Quickstart.lnk
poutlook.lnk
Voice Command.lnk
wisbarLite.lnk

Question 1: Does the order of this list (just as it appears in Total Commander) give the order of startup?

Question 2: Can you change this order by just cutting and pasting? If not, how?

Thanks!
