Yeah, with BT you can send files.
A friend wanted my "24"/Jack Bauer ringer today and so we just connected via BT and I sent it to his Moto phone in about 30 seconds.

TIP: Make all your contact photos taller than their width. The taller you make it, the "bigger" it'll be in your pop-up screen. So don't make them long rectangles or squares, make them tall-rectangles. It's not perfect, but it works.
