If the 10% rule is still in effect, thats about 17 megabytes being downloaded per second, an mp3 would transfer in less than a 1/4 second, a full cd in four seconds, a dvd in under 40 seconds, it wouldnt take long transfering the contents of one hardrive to the next, maybe just over night
i think data has been compressed to the point that any speed exceeding this is just not practical

Isnt it Megabits not byts? cause the way internet is rated now is bits, there are very few connections rated at byts and the ones that are arnt byts lol there gb.
