After doing my research it appears that there is in fact a bug in the build of Manila TFL2D & 3D that cause the application to crash. Additionally there has been several reports by members over at xda who have not installed these icons or any cuctom icons for that matter and have had the same problem with the tfl app crashing when clicking on the sms tab on the launcher. Now I can not explain why it has been reported that after the removal of the icons cause the tab to function again. Thats very weird, but I will keep reading to see if there are any fixes in the like... Mean while I have been using the Manila customizer for the mogul and have removed the sms tab from the launcher. It works flawlessly.
