if you want to brick a phone take the battery out then walk out to your car or any car and hook up a wire to both the pos and neg side of the battery then run the other end of the wires across the battery termanals... pooff red led light...
works also but if they open it up they will see the soder is burnt and might give ya hell...the battery trick works and only frys the chips or so i got told from my buddy that did that to get a touch a few months back
