right... and if you have a hard time finding it,
hard reset
dump full reg
register app(s)
dump full reg
then you can just diff the dumps. If it's not in the reg, it may be in some file that is stuffed somewhere (either \Windows or the install dir)
Obviously, that would not be for public OEMs - for those having to enter the serial number/key is a good thing
But for personal roms it is great
