Well, I received the phone. Very nice device, BUT, I'm probably going to be returning it. I started a thread in here a few weeks ago because I kept reading in reviews that the radio wasn't the best. I live in rural area and the Sprint reception on my Touch has always been marginal but it has worked and I have gotten an EVDO connection on data without problem, even though it was weak and not the fastest connection.

Now, with the Diamond, I'm getting 1x with an occasional switch to EVDO but 95 percent of the time it is on 1x. The phone reception is weak and breaks up, something that didn't happen on the Touch.

All in all, a very disappointing deal for me. For those in normal reception areas it should be fine but if you go into a marginal area you may be surprised by this phone.
