A camera is an expensive feature to leave in when there is little use for it. You're getting your phone, these "CEO's execs and corporate idiots" are bringing you two more nice phones, with upgrades even to the diamond (bigger battery and more RAM).

Quit whining as you're getting (nearly) everything you wanted, sure it is a few months behind, but HTC has never released US versions as fast as overseas versions. Not only do they make FAR less money off the US versions, but they have to be redesigned (not only do they have to make a new CDMA version but the current GSM versions do not support US 3g). Even overseas the device took a long time from when we first heard about it. It's called manufacturing delays. We are not a priority right now, deal with it, we are still getting it, missing only a front camera which is really just peanuts especially since we cannot even do voice and data at the same time. When the value of the dollar goes back up, and more people in the US want these devices, we will get them faster.

How are they doing anything not ethical? They took out a feature we can barely use here, upgraded the diamond, and are selling both phones at about half the price of the overseas versions once the exchange rate is being taken into account. If anything that is TOO nice.

I'd also like to point out that unlocked diamonds supporting 3g in the US over GSM are just now starting to become available (I think best buy is the first to start carrying one but it may come to light that it does not have US 3g). HTC does not sell them directly either unless they have very recently started. You certainly can't blame this on anyone but HTC.

Your entire argument is a worthless rant that has no basis in reality.
Excuse me? how can u say that video calling isnt't "popular here" when it has never been offered by any of the major 4?
if they were offered and heavily marketed by at&t and co I'm sure it would be as successful here in the US as it is elsewhere.

And plus you need to know that
1) only AT&T would be able to offer video calling as of today. They never did offer it because they never had a widespread 3G network. (remember the iphone wasnt 3G at first cause apple considered at&t 3G network wasnt wide enough). Now they are better but stil very spotty and they could/might offer it in the near future (maybe with the 3rd iphone).

2) Tmobile are far away from beiing 3G. Only New York is kind of covered.

3) Like someone else said Sprint and Verizon are CDMA so they will never offer video calling as long as they are CDMA. Maybe they wiill next gen once everyone is LTE.
