Don't make this harder than it is. For any line that is out of contract (and perhaps close to being out of contract if you can talk the into it) you can get $70 credit simply by asking and by signing a new 2 year agreement.

That's it. Whose line it is doesn't matter. You get $70 per line service credit for resigning your contract when you are out of contract.

The $150 2 year credit you get for having the same device for 2 years is seperate fro this. You can get both credits. I would recommend getting the $70 service credit first before upgrading your device *OR* at the same time you upgrade your device.
