I believe it's 2.0. When you connect, you're also given the option of connecting via ActiveSync or as a removable drive. Connecting as a removable drive should make it much faster to copy files as well. I did a quick test (no timed benchmarks, unfortunately) with my Garmin XT maps, and it made a big difference. The one drawback to the removable drive option is that your Internal Storage is not available while you're in that mode. So you can't "share" files when you're like that. But as soon as you disconnect, the Internal Storage comes back. That's by design, I believe. Probably helps reduce the risk of file corruption.
