Re: Definitive Ringer Volume Registry Adjustment

Look guys HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\Rin g\InitVol

DOES NOTHING

What I mean is this, if you go to your volume there are 6 settings. If you go to that registry directory path you will see you can go from 0 to 5 and there is no difference if you go over five. Is anyone seeing the relation yet?

If you set the registry to 2 and then chek your volume, it will be on the 3rd tab. If you set it to 5 in the reg and chk the volume it will be on the 5th tab.

AND if you change the volume with your stylus or scroll whell or whatever and then go check the reg, you will notice it changes in accordance to whatever selection you chose earlier.

I do agree that if your ringers are low in volume to use a 3rd party app (I use Wavepad) and amplify them.

As for remote access software I use z2 Remote2PC and has always been great and easy for me.
