After trying to edit registry with Total Commander for several hours, I threw in the towel and did it your way. Thanks. Also thanks to the xmentalx, my xelophone now sounds much better as a shotgun
btw, my problem also involved not being able to find the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
